The International Short Film Festival Oberhausen is one of the oldest festivals dedicated to the short film form, this year celebrating its 68th edition. In 2021, due to the pandemic, the festival introduced a new category – the International Online Competition, available to viewers worldwide. This year, the section will feature about 40 titles from across the globe, including Meštović’s The Raft.
The ISFF Oberhausen is held 30th April – 9th May, of which the International Online Competition will be made available for viewing between 30th April and 3rd May, while the onsite edition takes place 4th – 9th May.
The winners in the Online Competition will receive its own awards, decided by a separate jury.
Marko Meštrović’s The Raft, a story about the impending global cataclysm, is a Kreativni sindikat production.
