Great May in Bonobostudio! That is why we have decided to share our joy with everybody who lands on this website. And from now on, you can expect an occasional diary note every month.

Here are few interesting festivals in the past 2 weeks – among many.

·  Sonámbulo by Theodore Ushev was screened at IndieLisboa, and the end of the month it travels to Vienna Independent Shorts.

· Levitation by Marko Meštrović competed in the main festival program, and  Archeo 29 by Vladislav Knežević was presented in special 3D programs at Oberhausen.

·  Music video by Jelena Oroz Always or Never? for Fakofbolan can be seen these days at Trickfilm Festival in Stuttgart.

· Hunger by Petra Zlonoga and Simulacra by Ivana Bošnjak and Thomas Johnson are competing in the programs of the biggest Korean animation festival, SICAF.

We have also won few awards:

·  A.D.A.M. by Vladislav Knežević won two awards in one evening: as the Best Experimental Film at Croatian Film Days and Best 3D Stereoscopic Film at Be Film – The Underground Film Festival in New York.

We are preparing for Animafest Zagreb next month – where we will present many films from our distribution (and one commission produced in Bonobo) – and of course Annecy, where we will be cheering for Sonámbulo in the main competition (!!!). 

We are always working on new projects. And we are just about to finish up two films!  

·  Alexander Stewart’s Here There is a small film about memory which will sail the festival circuit very soon, and so will the alegoric animation Train by Olivier Chabalier – a co-production by French studio Gasp! and Bonobostudio.  

·  We are diligently working on few films which will be ready during or after summer, and at the same time we are starting one big co-production. Exciting!
