Ollie Magee’s graduation film to premiere in the Animation Competition of the 58th Ann Arbor Film Festival, held online, 24th – 29th March.

Over the course of six days, all programs of the 58th edition of the Ann Arbor Film Festival, one of the most famous US film festivals focusing on avant-garde and experimental film, will be available, free of charge, across the globe, via a live stream and the festival will also feature moderated talks with the authors.

Short animated film Nod. Wink. Horse. scheduled to screen online, on Friday, 27th March, is in the running for festival awards, which will be awarded by a festival jury.

Ollie Magee’s graduation film is a London Royal College of Art production, combining stop animation, collage and classical animation. The film rejects traditional narration, while the violent scenes in the film literally remain out of sight, hidden by a horse.
