More than 70 films competed in the Experimental Film Competition at the 12th Athens Animafest Festival (March 16 – 22). We are very proud that Petra Zlonoga’s film Dota won the Second Prize in the experimental program.

Dota was presented at 33 festivals so far – Animafest Zagreb, Annecy, OIAF to name a few – and won five awards, among them a Special Mention at Animateka in Ljubljana.

The film was produced by Kinoklub Zagreb for the 50th Genre Film Festival Zagreb anniversary. Dota is still travelling the world, so you might catch it somewhere. But if you haven’t seen Zlonoga’s previous film – an awarded animated film Hunger – you can find it on Vimeo.
