As a starting point for his experimental animated film Archeo 29, Vladislav Knežević used agency photographs from illustrated magazines from 1929 in order to depict the melancholic atmosphere of leisure between the two Wars and right before the Great Depression, as well as the upcoming threat already felt in the air. It was an age of great changes and discoveries, the origin of the world as we know it. All similarity with our time is, of course, purely coincidental.
The outstanding animation and special effects are the work of Mario Kalogjera, and the music composer Viktorija Čop had no less a difficult task.
Archeo 29 is the first film produced by Bonobostudio, premiering Thursday, 8 April 2010 at 18:30, at the Croatian Film Days. See you there!
