New film by a Bulgarian-Canadian artist and animator Theodore Ushev, Sonámbulo, premiers at Holland Animation Film Festival!

Animated film Sonámbulo (2015) is a short composition in visual music, a surrealist journey through colours and shapes inspired by the poem Romance Sonámbulo by a Spanish poet and playwright Federico García Lorca. The film was produced by 9311-8990 Quebec Inc. / Les Productions Unité centrale, and is distributed by Bonobostudio.

Sonámbulo will premiere at the 18th edition of the Holland Animation Film Festival in Utrecht (18 – 22 March), in the international non-narrative competition programme, accompanied with another recent film by Theodore Ushev – Manifeste de Sang (Blood Manifesto), produced by NFB.

Simulacra by Ivana Bošnjak and Thomas Johnson will also be screened in the competition programme at HAFF (produced/distributed by Bonobostudio).

Animator, graphic designer and illustrator Theodore Ushev already made few very successful animated films, which were awarded world-wide: Lipsett Diaries (2010), Gloria Victoria (2013) or Nightingales in December (2011), also distributed by Bonobostudio, to name a few.
