International Animated Film Festival Banjaluka (23 – 28 Oct) ended few days ago with an award ceremony, and we are happy to announce that Planemo won a Special Mention in competition with 44 international films. Several other works from our distribution were featured at Banjaluka as well: Travelling Country, Train, Dota and Peter’s Forest.
Few days later Planemo won Canal+ Award at Les Utopiales in Nantes (29 Oct – 3 Nov), a festival dedicated to Science Fiction genre. The festival features film competitions, exhibitions, but also book presentations, panels and round tables.
Planemo counts 34 international competition screenings and 3 awards since it premiered in March this year at HAFF. You can see it now at the Kuandu International Animation Festival (Taipei) and New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival (Hokkaido), and then at the beginning of December at prestigious LIAF – London International Animation Festival.
