Dove sei, amor mio is the Best Animated Film for Adults at Anifest Rozafa and... more
Sonámbulo goes strong: to the magnificent number of almost 100 festivals and 10 awards we’ll add the 11th mention, from the great Hiroshima International Animation Festival. Jury explained their choice referring to film’s surrealistic, playful, and explosively drawn music. We definitely agree!
This award now meets previous mentions from Animafest, Fest Anča, Animator, OIAF, Longue vue sur le court, Sommets du cinema d'animation, Les Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois, Cinanima, Etiuda & Anima and Multivision Festival. Sonámbulo was – as mentioned – screened all around the world: HAFF, Annecy, IndieLisboa, MIAF, Edinburgh, Curtas Vila do Conde, Anima Mundi, TIFF, Encounters, DOK Leipzig, LIAF, Ann Arbor, Stuttgart etc. We have five more screenings coming up by the end of the year, but more will surely follow after the summer break.
And an important piece of information for the end: if you haven’t seen Sonámbulo, we have an idea. Organize your own private festival wherever it suits you best and just watch it on demand.
