Nine awards, on the list of top ten animated films of the year – and now also available for holiday watching on demand!

We just got news about an award at Multivision festival, which took place from October 24 to November 30th. 13th International Festival of Animation Arts Multivision was presented as the exhibition of video installations The Myth of the Eternal Return in Erarta Museum of Contemporary Art in St. Petersburg. The festival explores animation as fine art, and Best Video Installation category is oriented specifically to animation similar to painting or sculpture than to cinema. 40 works have been selected, and we are happy to report that Theodore Ushev’s Sonámbulo won the honorable mention for harmony of images and sound.

Sonámbulo is finishing its first year with nine awards: from Animafest, Fest Anča, Animator, OIAF, Longue vue sur le court, Sommets du cinema d'animation, Cinanima, Etiuda & Anima and Multivision. In its first 9 months it was screened in the competitions of about 70 film festivals.

Also, magazine 24 images published their annual list with the best animations of the year 2015. Few well-known programmers, critics and animators listed their best ten movies of the year, and it’s very nice to see that Sonámbulo is mentioned more than once. Have a look at it here.

Finally, we are happy to announce that you can now watch Sonámbulo on demand here! Enjoy the film for holidays, and have a good end of the year!
