First Award for Out from the Deep!

Great news from Greece: Katrin Novaković won The Best Animated Film Award.

Out from the Deep, graduation film by a young author Katrin Novaković, was awarded on Saturday at the 17th Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People in the city of Pyrgos, Peloponnese. The film was rewarded the Best Animated Film by the Children's Jury!

Out from the deep (2013) is a graduation film from The Split Art Academy UMAS and it was made in the stop motion technique. So far it has been screened at 30 film festivals, mostly in the children competition programs, and this is the first award it received. Bravo Katrin!
