We are happy to announce that animated documentary Father won the CIFEJ Prize for the best film at the 8th Tehran Animation Film Festival (March 3-7). CIFEJ stands for International Centre of Films for Children and Young People. It is an international NGO dedicated to promoting excellence in the audio-visual media for young audiences.

The CIFEJ Jury at the Tehran Festival – Ebrahim Forouzesh from Iran, Dragan Milinković Fimon from Serbia and Isabel Herguera from Spain - awarded Father for its universal message: the importance of parents to listen to their children’s deep emotions and needs.

Father features five parallel realities in which the impossible dialogue between a child and a father would take place. The film is based on authentic experiences of several young people. It was directed by five unique artists, among them the Croatian animation director Veljko Popović.
