The biggest and the oldest animated festival in the Baltics, 18th Animated Dreams (November, 16 – 20), screened four films produced/distributed by Bonobostudio in the competition programs, and half of the films got an award.
Travelling Country, directed by Vessela Dantcheva and Ivan Bogdanov (Compote Collective co-production) won the Golden Prize Award in the Shut Up! Competition (the film was also screened in the main competition program), and Špela Čadež’s Nighthawk (co-produced with the Slovenian company Finta Film and RTV Slovenia) won a "Very Special Jury Prize Award" in the main program.
It is Travelling Country’s seventh award since April 2016, and third since Spetember for Nighthawk, returning recently from DOK Leipzig with a Special Mention. Both films are screening at the end of November at the 14th Anilogue (Budapest) and at the beginning of December at the 13th Animateka in Ljubljana.
