Veljko Popović's multi-award winning animated film has entered the international competition program at Clermont-Ferrand.

Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival is the second biggest film festival in France (after Cannes) and one of the biggest and most important short film festivals in the world. This year, its 41st edition will be held from February 1st to 9th.

Cyclists by director, scriptwriter and editor Veljko Popović and his Lemonade3d studio (in co-production with Bagan Films from France and Croatian 3D2D Animators) take their inspiration from a well-known installation made up of as many as 60 sculptures representing cyclists but also other playful characters designed by the award-winning painter, sculptor and graphic designer Vasko Lipovac. This comedy spiced with eroticism takes place in a small Mediterranean town, with two cyclists as the protagonists competing for a trophy, as well as for a lady's heart.

So far the film has been screened at more than 80 festivals worldwide at which it has won numerous awards such as the Grand Prix in the Croatian Competition at Animafest, the Jury Distinction at Annecy and Special Prize at Hiroshima.
