Rotterdam short film mingling continues at Clermont-Ferrand, great festival of great numbers: its already 34th festival edition and 27th Short Film Market (Jan 27th – Feb 4th).

We’ll visit Clermont-Ferrand with our successful animator Veljko Popović who will present his film Dove sei, amor mio in the International Competition programme. If you are passing by, find it in the program I12, screening seven times during the festival at various venues. We recommend the screening at the beautiful Jean Cocteau theatre on February 1st at 18.00!

We are also a part of the crew which was in the past few months preparing the presentation of Croatian short film at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Market. It is a great marketplace, hosting more than 30 countries and attracting hundreds of producers, distributors, buyers, curators… Croatian presentation has been organized by Croatian Audio-Visual Center and we will do our best to present Croatian short films at the Market!

But that's not all – French Syndicate of Independent Producers initiated a panel discussion between producers, film funds representatives and short film agencies about European short film coproductions, taking place on Wednesday Fabruary 1st at 16.30. We have been invited to present our brand new film, a Bulgarian-Croatian-German coproduction Father as a case study and a perfect introduction to a discussion about international collaboration and short film financing.

Two years ago Father was presented in Clermont Ferrand at Euro Connection, a coproduction platform for European producers and their short film projects in development. This year on January 31st a new Croatian project will be presented at the Euro Connection Pitching Forum: Ljubljana-Zagreb by the producer Zdenka Gold (Spiritus Movens) and directed by Dario Varga. We’ll be there to wish them good luck!
