This fantastic children’s story directed by Eva Cvijanović won an award for the best film in the newly established children’s competition programme – Young Public – at the grand festival of Annecy. Children’s jury comprised from four representatives of Annecy Animation Studio and four international guests. This year’s guests arrived from the Swiss Animatou Festival.

Annecy had almost three thousand applications, and in the official short competition also featured Špela Čadež’s Nighthawk. It is one of the most important festivals and markets for animated film, and Bonobostudio has been continuously present at the lake in the past five years.
