Planemo just won a special award in the fierce competition at the New Chitose Airport International Animation Festival (November 4 – 6): The Minister for Foreign Affairs Award. Film is produced by Lemonade 3D / Krupni kadar and 3D2D animatori, and this is its third award in just a week!

The Airport festival has quite an unusual concept; taking place at the airport terminal being their strangest conceptual trick, but already a quick glance at the awards shows it’s a serious event for animated films. Festival takes place from 2014 at the airport in Hokkaido; it receives 1,100 applications for the competition program and is visited by 33 thousand viewers in four days.

Planemo’s team is already on their way: coming home directly from the airport with an award in their pockets!
