The short experimental film A.D.A.M. by Vladislav Knežević was awarded the Oktavijan Award for Best Experimental Film granted by the Croatian Film Critics’ Association at the 24th Days of Croatian Film.
At the same time, A.D.A.M. was also awarded Best 3D Stereoscopic Film at the Be Film Festival – The Underground Film Festival in New York. Since 2004, the Festival has been dedicated to alternative film forms: animation, experiment and 3D stereoscopic film, which was introduced as a competitive category in 2009.
A.D.A.M. is a thirteen-minute experimental film about an attempt to recover control over a piece of space junk (Autonomous Drone for Asteroid Mining) which unexpectedly gained consciousness.
A.D.A.M. has been screened at 11 festivals so far, including the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival and Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival. In addition to these two awards, it also won an award at the Alternative Film/Video Festival in Belgrade.
