Dove sei, amor mio awarded in Sarajevo

New film by Veljko Popović won Special Jury Mention at the 17th Sarajevo Film Festival.

Dove sei, amor mio has just received Special Jury Mention in the short film category at the 2011 edition of Sarajevo Film Festival (July 17-30). The award was given by a jury composed of Milcho Manchevski, Jean-Christophe Berjon i Erzen Shkololli.

Two more Croatian filmmakers have been awarded in Sarajevo: Dana Budisavljević and her documentary project Family Meals won the award at the specialized workshop Docu Rough Cut Boutique and Dalibor Matanić received the Best Film Award in the short film category for his film Mezanin.

This is the second award so far for Dove sei, amor mio which also received a Special Mention at this year's edition of the Tabor Film Festival. After Sarajevo, the film will be screened at the animation film festivals Supertoon, LIAF, Anibar, Animanima and KROK, at the short film festivals in Sao Paulo and Nice, as well as at the film festival in Ourense in Spain.
